This is a leprechaun.
They are small and often mischievous.
They enjoy drinking... apple juice... but are more interested in...
chocolate coins.
Leprechauns are generous with other little people,
but they will not share their shiny snacks with us.
"I must find a new way to keep me treasure from all those hungry giants!"
"Bring up the rest o' the gold, lad!"
"Grrr....."
"Is that the last of it, Pat?"
"'Tis! Now what will we do with it?"
"The first step's hiding it... but step two's so much more fun!"
"Oof! What's that you say about fun?"
"*Hmph* The giants like findin' our gold... I say we trick 'em into looking else-ways for sweets."
LATER ON...
"...and put that there..."
"Ahh, see? It's brilliant! We bake them some chocolate, and they won't be a-searchin' for what's ours!"
"Now, don't drop the brownies, Pat... True, you over-baked 'em, but no sense lettin' them fall just 'cause they ain't that chewy."
"On the count a' three we set it down!"
"This'll be the kicker! If they're lookin' for a pot o' gold, they'll find one they can eat, gold and all."
"Ahh! That's a bonnie glow!"
"It lifts the heart to see a little leprechaun mischief afoot on St. Paddy's... It's as it should be!"
"C'mon then, Pat... let's divvy out these brownies!"
